The purpose of the website is to:
- Arrange return to the school as a volunteer.
- Establish that all volunteers in the school receive safeguarding training.
- Establish what the extra requirements are that the school feels are constantly being increased by local education authorities etc.
- Establish the identities of local education authorities and find out why those emailed have not replied.
- Further to 1, the purpose of volunteering is take the pressure off teachers. ST is very much within those under pressure. ST has spent extra time as this V's line manager.
- This volunteer is able and willing to be timetabled into the teaching programme for one of ST's sessions thus relieving ST of the planning and teaching involved.
- Thus the website now called Our Science Club will change to Extra Primary School Science or similar according to discussion with HT and ST.
