Dear HT
ST has a copy in the event of you being elsewhere.
Further to my suggested time and date availability, I have received no reply.
Further to my saying I will use the RC, I have presumed that this is OK.
I said I have a plan.
- I would be grateful if you ask the teacher in the adjacent classroom to tell pupils to use another route to the playground.
- I would be grateful if you would ask an admin person to place a notice on the RC door informing pupils not to use the RC route to the playground today and use whichever route is the alternative.
- I will hang an old bedsheet over the string across the door to the playground so that pupils can't make faces at the club pupils. I don't expect a classroom assistant to be posted there.
- In the event of pupils ignoring such new arrangements, I will stretch a piece of rope across from the left of the staff room door to the right of the RC door. Spare tables will barricade according to number available.
- I have spent many more hours and more expense redesigning the train set on a wallpaper pasting table. This gives greater portability and is quicker to assemble. This comment is not intended in terms of reimbursement.
- The new board also gives a more interesting layout with more station possibilities.
- I will bring my diary so that we can arrange when we will discuss the future. I understand you might be busy and we'll fix a time by email.
- I'm sure that the RC will serve today's purpose and that the future can emerge with a useful arrangement.
- As I have said, a different day and time will be entirely satisfactory.
- Continuity for pupils would best be achieved by arranging the session weekly versus fortnightly.
- I remain fully committed to supporting the school and pupils and look forward to arrangements which help me so to do.
Kind regards

I like the ideas but I will have to check
as I dont think that is ok due to fire regulations as it is one of our
exit points. I will check with HT.
Notes not in any email
RC ... as it is one of our
exit points The key to the ST problem.
Bearing in mind that I had held the second session in this very place, ST must have already decided that fire regs do not apply to this corridor.
